The InteX Project will be present in Paris on 20th October at the “EUROSHNET Conference 2022: Artificial Intelligence Meets Safety and Health at Work” , thanks to the presentation given by Dr. Joseph McIntyre from TECNALIA Research and Innovation and InteX partner. Under the title “Realizing the Promise of Exoskeletons: Research Efforts to Increase the Efficacy and Acceptance through Artificial Intelligence-enabled Wearable Robots”, McIntyre will address the new lines of research in the field of exoskeletons in his presentation. Future steps point to the creation of AI-powered exoskeletons that recognize user intent with the aim of increasing the acceptance and adoption of these systems in the workspace.
Joseph McIntyre is Research Professor and Director of Medical Robotics at Tecnalia. He leads Tecnalia’s efforts to develop human-centered robotic technologies for worker protection and medical applications.
